Product families

Every braid,every fibre.

Three core constructions, four fibre families, 2–72 mm — the backbone of marine and sailing cordage, from sheets and halyards to mooring and winch lines. Every line is built to your spec, not a fixed catalogue.

Constructions

Three ways to build a rope.

Double braid

A braided cover over a braided core. The result is high strength with low stretch and torque-free handling — the workhorse for marine running rigging, mooring tails and architectural use.

  • Smooth, round profile — easy on hands and hardware
  • Excellent abrasion resistance, splices cleanly

8-strand

Eight strands plaited in opposing pairs. Round, supple and rotation-resistant under load — the classic choice for mooring lines, towing and anchor work where the rope must run free and hold.

  • No kinking, no hockling — coils and stows easily
  • High energy absorption, gentle shock loading

12-strand

A twelve-strand hollow braid. Outstanding handling, very high strength-to-weight and zero torque under load. With HMPE fibres it rivals steel wire at a fraction of the weight — and it floats.

  • Spliceable in the field, no special tools
  • Steel-replacement option in HMPE

Fibre families

The right fibre for the load.

We translate the application — strength, stretch, UV, abrasion, cost — into the fibre that fits. Here is how the four families compare.

PES

Polyester

High strength, very low stretch and excellent UV & abrasion resistance. The all-round marine and industrial default.

Low stretch
UV / abrasion
PP

Polypropylene

Light, economical and it floats. The go-to for general purpose, agriculture and where buoyancy matters more than ultimate strength.

PA

Polyamide (Nylon)

The strongest of the common synthetics with high elasticity — superb shock absorption for towing, anchoring and dynamic loads.

Natural fibre

Manila, sisal and cotton for traditional, decorative and grip-critical uses where a natural look and feel is required.
